Dr. Ronnie Goines is originally from Shreveport, LA, and is the son of Curtis Goines and Girtha McDonald. He is the Founding Pastor of Koinonia Christian Church in Arlington, Texas.
Dr. Ronnie W. Goines is the father of 3 sons: Noah, Luke, and Daniel, along with a host of spiritual sons & daughters.
Dr. Goines is committed to discipleship and is privileged to disciple men at Koinonia. He has successfully discipled 24 classes of men.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Finance degree from Louisiana Tech University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, with an emphasis in Biblical Languages, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.
In addition, Dr. Goines served as an Adjunct Professor of History and Literature of the Bible at Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas.
As a community leader in Arlington, TX, Dr. Goines is a community leader and a
proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. In addition, He is the Chaplin
for the Arlington Police Department, served as a co-chair for the Arlington Unity Council, is the Founder of the IMPACT Center, Partners with Mission Arlington on various, and hosts weekly open Gym for those in the Community at Koinonia to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
While acting as Lead Pastor, Dr. Goines owns All Things Life Insurance Agency
to help families build a legacy. Previously, Dr. Goines was a Licensed Financial
Advisor, Corporate Business Development Officer, radio talk host of “Real Talk
with Rev” on FM 100.7 and served 8 years in the U.S. Armed Forces.
He is a twice-published author of “As For Me And My House…” (Book & Journal) and Christian Commit Suicide.
